Many of our new Singing Machine karaoke systems include a free trial period. To avoid accidental charges, it is important to activate this offer correctly.
How to Activate Your Included Free Trial
Your free trial must be activated directly through the karaoke machine's interface during the initial setup process. For our latest models, this is done automatically when you connect to the Singing Machine app and follow the on-screen prompts. You will see the free trial offer clearly displayed on the "Select a Plan" page before you confirm.

Why Accidental Charges Happen
If you start a subscription directly from the Singing Machine mobile app on your phone or tablet (for example, by tapping a "Subscribe" pop-up before linking to your new machine), you are creating a new, separate subscription. This subscription is managed and billed directly by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, not by Stingray.
These app store subscriptions are not connected to the free trial included with your machine and will begin billing you according to Apple's or Google's terms.
How to Fix This
If you have been charged unexpectedly, you must cancel the subscription through the app store where you made the purchase. Once that is done, you can proceed to activate the free trial that came with your machine by following the correct setup process.

Apple App Store (iPhone/iPad)
You must manage your subscription through your Apple account settings. Please see Apple’s official instructions on how to cancel here.
Google Play Store (Android)
You must manage your subscription through the Google Play Store.
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Tap Menu (☰) and then Subscriptions.
- Select the subscription you want to cancel and follow the on-screen instructions.
